Kevin Cohee is chairman and chief executive officer of OneUnited Bank. Teri Williams serves alongside him as president and chief operating officer. The bank brings together institutions that served Black communities in Boston, Los Angeles and Miami. Cohee's work there has included acquisitions and a subsequent move toward digital banking. He has described financial education and access to banking as central aims of the institution.

Cohee earned a bachelor's degree and an MBA at the University of Wisconsin and a law degree at Harvard. He played college football during his undergraduate years. He later joined Salomon Brothers as an investment banker. Before his work at OneUnited, he acquired Military Professional Services, which marketed credit cards to military personnel. He later sold the company's assets.

At OneUnited, Cohee participated in the consolidation of Boston Bank of Commerce, Founders National Bank and Family Savings Bank in Los Angeles, and Peoples National Bank of Commerce in Miami. The combined institution retained a presence in those three cities.

In a February 2025 interview with the Independent Community Bankers of America, Cohee discussed the shift from acquiring banks toward developing technology. OneUnited had introduced its digital platform in 2005. By the time of the interview, the bank had six branches, while most customers used mobile or online services. Cohee described technology as a way to extend the bank's reach beyond its physical locations and make financial information easier for customers to use.

The bank introduced WiseOne Insights in 2023. The tool can bring together information from OneUnited accounts and accounts at other institutions, showing customers their income, expenses, assets and debts. It can also flag duplicate charges, new fees and unusually large bills. Cohee described the tool as a way to help customers notice financial problems and make better-informed decisions.
