About these terms
These terms govern your use of Good Black Men, operated by Forward Motion Inc. By using the site, you agree to these terms to the extent an agreement can be formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Any rights that applicable law does not permit us to limit remain unaffected.
Access to the site
Public pages are available without an account. Editorial administration requires an authorized editor account. Do not share credentials or attempt to access another person’s account. The site currently does not offer paid subscriptions, products, or a checkout.
Editorial purpose and accuracy
Good Black Men presents biographies for education, discovery, and discussion. The collection is selective and celebratory, not an exhaustive record of a person’s life or a ranking of people. Profiles may be edited, corrected, or updated. Inclusion does not imply endorsement by the person, their estate, an employer, a photographer, or an affiliated organization.
We aim to present accurate information, but do not guarantee that every statement is complete, current, or free of error. The biographies are general editorial content and do not provide individualized legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Content and image rights
Rights in original site text, design, and other material belong to their respective rights holders. Photographs, illustrations, reference material, marks, and other third-party content may have separate rights and restrictions. See the image credits and any notice accompanying an individual image. An AI illustration is an artistic representation, not a documentary photograph.
You may read the site and share links using the provided tools. A download button makes a file available; it does not transfer copyright, waive attribution requirements, establish subject endorsement, or grant rights beyond those already applicable to the file. Do not remove required credit or license notices. Images whose permissions are limited to private review are withheld from the public edition. Obtain any permissions needed for public, commercial, advertising, or other use. Nothing in these terms limits uses permitted by law or a valid third-party license.
Using the sharing tools
The social tools help you prepare or open a post on another service. You choose whether to publish and are responsible for the text, destination, audience, and permissions for your post. A platform may require an account, impose eligibility conditions, crop an image, or refuse a URL. Good Black Men does not promise that a social platform will fetch an image or display every social preview. Platform names and icons identify destinations and do not imply a partnership.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to impersonate someone, imply an endorsement that does not exist, violate another person’s rights, distribute malicious code, interfere with service operation, or evade access controls. Do not use automated access in a way that imposes an unreasonable load or circumvents a restriction. Respect applicable law and third-party licenses.
Links and outside services
External sources, social networks, hosting, and account services operate under their own policies. We do not control their availability, decisions, or content. Their terms may apply in addition to these terms. The privacy policy describes the current site’s information practices.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted service, fitness for a particular purpose, or completeness. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, Forward Motion Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from site use. These provisions do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable mandatory consumer rights.
Applicable law and changes
Florida law governs these terms except where applicable mandatory law requires otherwise. These terms do not require arbitration or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date and apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
